The soap originates in ancient Greece , in the Mitilini area, where the people who tended the ritual sacrifice of animals discovered it. Over time, they realised that the left over fats and residues, when mixed with rainwater and the ashes from the fires, formed a type of soap, a process which we call saponification.

Initially, the populace used this “soap” for general cleaning and washing clothes etc. It was, however, later discovered that by replacing the fats with oils and adding salts to the water, it made a suitable soap for personal washing and body-care.

Today our Company, following in this tradition of using natural oils, manufactures the soap “FINE” from olive oil, a well known application for body-care and which is exceptionally suitable for the care and cleansing of all types of skin.

White soap with olive oil, together with the green soap manufactured with seed olive oil are enriched with several aromatic concoctions and herbs, producing extremely healthy, invigorating and pleasing skin care products.
